Yes Landmark again…. their Advance Course… AND stepping out of my comfort zone and doing their Introduction to Leadership Program AND also usual life stuff…. please can you give me the winning lotto numbers for the BIGGEST prize?
Sorted out my past… well it’s ongoing… through the Landmark Forum.
The Advance Course looks at the future….. again through the roller coaster of my mind, emotions, being…. and yes my dad’s ears were burning but this time there was no phone call for him to think it was the end…phew.
Again I had quite a few slaps in the face about how I had been living my life and the impact of minor childhood, teenage and early adult traumas had on my life but again my poor dad. He did his best.
Through the darkness of the past I came through to see the light and to realise the impact that language had on our lives. Yes we have read “The Secret”, all the motivational speakers talk about what you put out there comes back, you even throw in your contribution in the bible and say “Ask , and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you””, and how can we forget, “A man reaps what he sows”. You were ahead of your time weren’t you? It took us a while to catch up and grasp the concept.
Well I had my epiphany, I realised how much of my negative talk, language I had used that created the life I had been living. There was enough epiphany to get my arse out of my seat and actually stand in front of a microphone and share to about 150 people without passing out…. now that is what I call a miracle. Alleluia !!!
We are amazing creatures, we are created to be extraordinary yet we dull our ourselves to follow rules that we created through language to fit in. For groups who believe they have the right to dictate how we should live our lives, how we should interact with each other, what is right, what is wrong rather than being free to create and share the individuals that we are with each other, as human BEINGS, not human DOINGS.
How amazing do you think it would be if we could just connect with each other, with integrity, true to our word and being authentic? WTF were you thinking when you gave us free will…. we have sure complicated our lives. Told you, we should have come with instructions.
